Our MPX-1g<\/strong> is widely known as a versatile Stereo and RDS encoder for MPX generation and now it goes even further! The new DAB Databridge option<\/strong> makes the re-broadcast functionality of the MPX-1g even more powerful. Equipped with a DAB tuner<\/strong>, it can not only use DAB as an audio source for FM re-distribution, but now also convert DAB service signalling and Dynamic Labels into RDS data.<\/p>\n

This enables new application scenarios such as local and cable rebroadcast<\/strong>, gap-filler installations<\/strong>, or interim replacement of STL links<\/strong>. It is also ideal for backup and recovery setups<\/strong>: the MPX-1g automatically switches from the primary feed to the DAB backup source according to predefined criteria.<\/p>\n

Both audio and MPX can serve as the primary feed.<\/p>\n

  • If audio is used, the MPX-1g activates its internal stereo and RDS encoder.<\/li>\n
  • If the primary feed is MPX, the automatic configuration feature adapts the MPX signal to the active source without user intervention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dynamic RDS from DAB PAD and Service Information<\/strong>
