RD10 configuration software

RD10Config

To start up the RD10 at first the device must be configured with PC software RD10Config by setting up tuning frequency and MPX source.

After starting the program the following screen appears:

• Connect the RD10 with the crosslink cable to your PC. ( 9pole SUB-D female on both sides)
• Select the COM-Port.
• Press the connect button. After successful connection the device information Serial-Nr. and Software Version is being displayed.
• Select the frequency or external MPX source. To save the frequency click on one of the three “Set”-Buttons. The chosen frequency value will be saved as a preset value.

Reload data

Pressing the 'Reload data' button forces the program to reload actual data set from RD10. The actual status of the relay will be displayed

Save to Flash

Pressing this button will save the actual frequency into the parameter flash. Next time switching on the device this frequency value will be automatically set.

RDS-Decoder

Pressing button 'RDS Soft-Decoder' will show the actual RDS-Data on air. The RD10 transmits the raw group data and those are being decoded by the software. The following chapters describe the RDS SoftDecoder.
