Overview

The B03 FM Stereo rebroadcast Receiver offers state-of-the-art performance for measuring and monitoring tasks. With its high sensitivity and large signal capability, the B03 is well suited even for harsh environments. Selectable IF-bandwidth enables you to optimize FM reception quality.

A variety of analog measurements including MPX and audio deviation, pilot and RDS level/phase, lets you conveniently measure all important parameters of your FM transmissions.

The RDS monitoring feature allows for transmission control and generates selectable warning messages in case of erroneous or missing data. Data filtering and insertion is also possible.

Various interfaces make it easy to connect to the B03. Control the unit via serial COM port, or use the LAN-interface with TCP/IP and SNMP. Isolated inputs and relay outputs offer high flexibility for hardware interfacing and remote control of external devices and allow you to receive emailed alerts of problems or external inputs such as a door alarm.

Whether you need to distribute your received audio signals in a road tunnel or simply want to rebroadcast FM programes from remote sites: the B03 has it all! Even if your national regulation authorities require you to monitor parameters and/or data: you can do that, too! And, finally, the optional MP3-streaming feature allows for remote listening of received audio with an ordinary media player.

Hardware

The B03 comes in a 19“ by 1 R/U case. A 32-Bit ARM7-based microcontroller not only controls all available interfaces, but also handles data processing and management. An additional 32-Bit floating-point DSP handles all signal-related computations (e.g., filtering, equalization, amplification). For maximum signal quality. 24-Bit A/D- and D/A-converters are used for signal conversion.

Unbalanced RF-inputs and MPX-outputs as well as balanced analog and digital (AES/EBU) outputs are available.

All settings are stored in non-volatile memory. Firmware can be easily updated via TCP/IP. All features are controllable by SNMP.

TCP/IP-Interface

With its integrated 'Net PC' module - the B03 can be configured and controlled through the internet.
Each of your B03 receivers can then be addressed individually.

Software

The accompanying PC software provides for easy control and measurement. All settings in the B03 are available from within the graphical user interface. Monitoring (according to BS.412-9) and data logging can be easily accomplished.
