A20Lab - control software for A20/A20T FM Monitoring Decoder
The A20Lab PC software allows you to set up your A20 and to monitor all parameters and measurement values your A20 is able to deliver. It will be presented in a clear fashion and adding some extra benefits you probably always wanted. The software is designed to run on MS-Windows (98 / 98SE / ME / 2000 / XP / Vista).
Level Meter
Watch the RDS, RF and Pilot level
measurements shown graphically- The valid range taken from the current dataset is highlighted in the scale
- Watch the audio (internal and external) and the MPX deviation shown graphically as a bar
- The threshold value is marked in the scale
- The peak value is held individually for a specified time
- Each scale can be adjusted individually by the user to cover a different range of interest
Long-term MPX measurement
Make long-term measurements of the MPX power and deviation and watch it as a time based graph- Each scale can be adjusted individually by the user to cover a different range of interest
- The measured values can be saved as a CSV file to be opened e.g. in a spreadsheet application or in a simple text editor
A20Lab: Do everything you were able to do with the A20Config software, but even better:
- Completely rewritten from the scratch taking into account the feedback and wishes from users of the old A20Config software.
- Permanent access to the input control including signal source, frequency attenuation and the active dataset)
- New sensitive JogDial for frequency tuning
- "LCD" permanently showing the current source, the current dataset, PI, PS, the block error rate, the current attenuation, the RF level and the status of synchronization
- Instant visual feedback from changes done at the A20 directly (change e.g. the frequency and A20Lab will show the changed frequency in the "LCD"
- In addition to the green/red LED showing the valid/invalid status of a value you are able to see, if an alarm has already be signaled or if a value is only temporarily out of range
- Well organized handling of datasets
- Well arranged grouping of associated user interface elements
- Combined rarely used general A20 setup items (e.g. network configuration, MP3 settings etc.) into a separate dialog
- Ability to use the external RDSSoftDecoder application in conjunction with A20Lab even when the A20 is connected via serial interface
- Switch the User interface language from English to German and vice versa at runtime
- Many more enhancements to the general usability
